Use this checklist to gather all necessary information before your appointment or document upload:

For Individual Tax Returns:
  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Social Insurance Number (SIN)
  • T4 slips (employment income)
  • T5/T3 slips (investment income)
  • RRSP contribution receipts
  • Childcare expenses
  • Tuition/Education receipts (T2202)
  • Medical & dental receipts
  • Donation receipts
  • Property tax or rent receipts
  • Notice of Assessment from last year
  • Any other income (self-employment, gig work, etc.)
For Business & Corporation Returns:
  • Articles of Incorporation or Business License
  • Corporate Tax Number (BN) and HST/GST Number
  • Financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet)
  • Bookkeeping records (QuickBooks, Excel, or others)
  • Payroll summaries and T4s issued
  • Bank statements (last 12 months)
  • Business expense receipts
  • Lease agreements (if applicable)
  • Vehicle logbook or mileage report
  • Previous year’s corporate tax return
  • CRA correspondence, if any
Optional But Helpful:
  • Cash Flow reports
  • Budgeting worksheets
  • Loan/line of credit statements
  • Investment or retirement account summaries
  • Any pending CRA notices or audits
